this site really is a well thought of site and i think looks like their has been alot of effort put into it.

this section of the website allows people to purchase books from this site, allowing if their lesson ask them to buy certain book, they don't have to go searching for the books but instead they maybe can buy the books straight from the site, being more efficient for the students or viewers of the site. they have many options on the left side of the page allowing people to choose what they want.

their is a page which allows access to books for academy, so books are placed in a separate section, i assume allowing it to be more easier to find the books needed.

not only does the site provide books but it has audio also, give the site more variety for the viewers and students to get the best form of learning as possible. this is broken into 2 sections which can be chosen from the left site and they are the sub categories of the audio section. the sub categories are CD's and Tapes, catering for a majority of peoples needs.

these 3 links are the gifts, featured products and the new arrival. the gift sections provides more products that are not exactly for learning purposes, which i think attracts a different audience, showing that this site is more than just a site to gain religious knowledge but a site that wide and broad and caters for different needs of people.

this is a video on Youtube, which provides information on how Sunni path courses work online. like a overview of the features within Sunni path. this is a very detailed, informative description on how people can learn about certain topics within Islam. they provide information on different types of learning sources that are available. such as live virtual classrooms, which provide real life white boards, visual description of concepts and the ability to express your feedback. also the teachers have office hours so a person can ask private questions through text or audio or you can just discuss your learning. also they have quizzes and assignments, making it a real class or course that you are doing despite it being online.

to provide more help for Muslims, in the website there is a section where people can ask questions about religion or if they have any queries, they can ask and the scholars that run the website can answer them back. they are put in certain sections so if could be on law or spirituality which makes it easier to find the answers to the questions you may have. another interesting point is that it is split into different schools of thought so if you follow a Hanafi school you can look for Hanafi answers. this shows an understanding and shows that the people who run this website are open to everyone and they aren't giving information from a particular way of thinking so it appeals more people to it.

i have been told to write a blog on a case study, which was either a website or a theme of my choice, outlining my research experience. i have decided to look at the website, SunniPath.com. i feel that i can really search through this website because there are many pages within this site and also many features that this site has, that i believe will allow me to effectively provide enough information on research experience with annotated hyperlinks for proof of my findings.
furthermore i chose this particular site because it site is different, giving more than just text based information on Islam. showing the development of Islam within the virtual context. also showing how technology has aided in the development of Islamic learning and teaching.

looking at Sunni Path, we can see how a website has been created to help the Muslims around the world. it provides more than just information on Islam but its very different from other websites, in the area of providing information. its not only given through text but they have lesson online!!!
